Interactive platform on home-based technology for the elderly | Taiwan

Combat isolation

Taiwan’s Health Promotion Administration worked with technology companies to develop an interactive platform on home-based technology for the elderly, to encourage them to keep connected with the society while staying at home. In designated counties and cities, elderly people reaching the age of 60 could apply to upgrade their cable TV’s set-top box and install a video camera at home for free.
